- 08:30 AM Meet your guide at the hotel. By BTS to Sapan Taksin station
- .09:00 AM Embark on a private long tailed boat to explore the Thonburi Klongs and the Chao Phraya River. (In case guests stay at a riverside hotel, the canal tour starts from the hotel’s boat pier). On the way visit the temple Wat Pak Nam Pasi Charoen,an important and revered Buddhist temple in Thailand. Its historical significance ,association with the Thai Forest Tradition, meditation teachings, and its role in promoting mindfulness and spiritual development make it a place of great importance for Buddhists and those interested in meditation and Thai Buddhism. .
- 10:30 AM Disembark at Ta Chang boat pier and a short walk to the Grand Palace,Bangkok’s major landmark, which was built in 1782 by King Rama I. Each building of the complex is a work of arts including the royal chapel of Temple of the Emerald Buddha – which houses Thailand’s most revered Buddha Image.
- 11:30 AM Walk through the western gate behind the palace you will see the Chao Phraya River, The Royal Pier, a Thai style pavilion which nowadays use for royal ceremonies and the Royal Navy Club. Go on to visit the nearby local market and walk along the footpath where you will be amazed to see the merchants offer their goods on the ground such as traditional medicine, denture, talismans and amulets. This is well known as Bangkok’s biggest amulet market.
- Enjoy a Tuk Tuk ride for 2.5 km, a unique and traditional vehicle to visit Wat Po, which is one of the most important temples of Bangkok with its very impressive huge reclining Buddha image in bronze built in Ayuthaya period (1350-1767).
- Walk to the nearby Tatien pier to board an public express boat back to Saphan Taksin BTS Station.
