Day 1

Travel on an adventure and experience the rich nature of Chiang Mai province. Visit Mok Fa Waterfall, hidden in the jungle before start trekking in the Huai Nam Dang National Park area, a forest trekking trails through the valley past a Karen village and traditional farming plains. Some routes lead up to a mountain ridge where you can see a view points of the sea mountains as far as the eye can see. During lunch in the village, it is an opportunity to see and learn about people’s lifestyles and livelihoods. Seeing the dependency between people and the forest, understand simplicity even when adapting to the times until arrive Mae Ma Nai village in the evening. It is not a very large Karen community next to a small creek where there is no electricity. Travelers can bathe in the nearby stream or you can choose to shower in bathroom as per your convenience. Dinner under the lantern light or sitting around a campfire to match the atmosphere of a forest trip is all very pleasant. Overnight stay at the hill tribe house

Day 2

In the late morning, continue hiking with the path up and down the hills before climbing up to the ridge with a beautiful view. Under the shade of a big tree, we will rest and having lunch together. There’s plenty of time to admire the scenery before the hiking trail leads down the forest along the river. Passing through terraced rice fields along a small creek that flows down to the riverside until arrive Pa Khao Lam Village where is the destination today. Today’s trek is not very far. We arrived at the village in the afternoon, giving us enough time to walk around this Pa Khao village, a relatively large hill tribe village. There is a school taught by border patrol police teachers. Many hill tribes students around the area come to study here. In the evening, it is the perfect time for travellers to build up friendship. Playing football with the children and local teenagers before taking a bath in the nearby river or in the bathroom. Then, home-cooked dinner under the moonlight. Have fun with your favourite drink for one more night together around the fire.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will depart from this village by kayaking. There will be a briefing of instructions on paddling and river safety, what position is the nanny boat and what to do if you fall into the water, etc. Everyone must understand the rules before going on an adventure. Paddling in the Mae Taeng River during this period is not very dangerous. The water is shallow and the stream is not very strong. So, it is fun to paddle n this part of the river as you’re immersed by gorgeous surroundings. The scenery on both sides of the river is dense evergreen forest alternate with steep mountain ranges. Along the way, we stop for lunch, either at a hilltribe village or at a sandy beach along the river depending on the appropriate time. The river adventure will end at Sop Kai Village around 3 or 4 pm. After that return back safely to Chiang Mai in the evening.
