Extreme forest trekking: Pass through the rainforest, cross streams, rest next to a waterfall, and admire the view of the sea of mist on the Banthat mountain range.
Itinerary Trip
3Days 2 Nights
Day 1
- Today we will start the trek at Kong Ra district, Patthalung province. We walked up and down the slope, but it wasn’t very high for about 2 hours
- Have lunch with fried chicken and sticky rice
- Walk on the ridge alternating with some ups and downs until you reach the first camp ( Ton Ma Phi Pa Beach or Ton Son camp), which is close to the stream
- Have dinner together
Day 2
- Sip hot coffee and listen to the sound of forests., and Have breakfast
- Start trek to the second camp. We walk on the ridge alternates with going up and down the hill. and alternating with crossing streams
- Have lunch
- Start by entering the area of the waterfall that has been discovered. It is covered in moss and ferns, with small and large rocks scattered throughout. The area is surrounded by an ancient forest where every tree has unique characteristics. The final destination is reaching the top of the iconic Khao Chet Yot mountain gate
- Arrived at the second camp. We set up camp near the stream. We can soak in the waterfall and immerse yourself in the nature around you.
- Have dinner
Day 3
- Wake up early, sip coffee, and then take a walk to the top of the mountain to take photos. If you’re lucky, you might spot a tapir, which are considered the hero of Phu Banthat mountain range, grazing at the top of the grass, and you can admire it. The total distance from the base to the summit is about 18 km with an altitude gain of 1,250 m . Have breakfast
- We climb down at Pa Rian , Trang. We have to trek around 5 kilometers. After that get in the car truck at Nhan Sa Tor waterfalls. Come back to local guide’s home , after that take a shower.
